Edward Edwards House almshouse at 220 Blackfriars receives BSR approval

We are thrilled to announce that we have received approval (with requirements) from the Building Safety Regulator (BSR) to commence piling and the basement box at the Edward Edwards House almshouse at 220 Blackfriars!

This is a significant step forward following a long journey of close collaboration with Southwark Charities. The amount of dedication and hard work to reach this critical point has been incredible.

Huge credit goes to the invaluable support of our design team and contractors.

In the coming weeks of November the first piling rig will be mobilized, marking the start of delivering much-needed affordable almshouse accommodation and community amenities for the London Borough of Southwark.
